Terms of service

The short version: you pay monthly or yearly, there's no contract, you own your content, and if you leave we'll transfer your web address to you.

1. Who we are

These terms are between you (the business using our service) and William Gourley trading as TradeSitesPro, Northern Ireland ("we", "us"). You can contact us at [email protected].

Our service is for businesses. By ordering, you confirm you're acting for your business.

2. What you get

A website on the design you choose, set up with your details.
Hosting, a security certificate (the padlock) and software updates.
An admin panel so you can change your text and photos yourself.
An enquiry form, with messages kept in your admin panel.
If you ask us to, registration of a web address for you (see section 6).
Help and support by email.

3. Price and payment

You pay monthly or yearly, in advance, at the price agreed when you sign up. There is no setup fee. If we change our prices we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price applies to you.

4. No contract – cancelling

There is no minimum term. You can cancel any time by telling us. Your website stays live until the end of the period you've already paid for, then it's taken offline. We don't give refunds for part of a month or part of a year already paid.

5. If a payment is missed

We'll send your renewal invoice about 14 days before your paid period ends, with reminders. If it's still unpaid when that period ends, we'll pause your website until it's paid. If your account stays unpaid for a further 60 days, we may close it and delete your website.

6. Your web address (domain)

If you already own a web address, it stays yours. We only point it at your new website.
If we register one for you, it's registered with your business as the owner and we renew it while your account is active.
If you leave, we'll transfer it to you for a one-off admin fee of £20, as long as your account is paid up. Please ask for the transfer within 30 days of leaving – after that we may let it expire.

7. Your content

You own everything you give us or add to your website – your text, photos, logo and details. You confirm you have the right to use them, and that what your website says about your business is true (for example any accreditations or insurance you mention). We may remove anything that is unlawful or that we're asked to remove by a court or authority.

8. Our designs and software

The designs, code and admin panel belong to us. While your account is active you can use them for your website. They can't be copied or moved to another provider. If you leave, you can have a copy of your text and photos.

9. Enquiries and personal data

Messages sent through your website's enquiry form are stored for you in your admin panel. You're responsible for replying to them and for handling people's details lawfully. We handle this information only to provide the service to you, keep it secure, and don't use it for anything else. See our privacy notice.

10. Keeping things running

We keep regular backups and do our best to keep your website online, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable (for example during maintenance or problems outside our control).

11. Our responsibility

We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost business or profit, if your website is unavailable. Our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. If we end the service

We can end the service with 30 days' notice by email. We can pause or end it straight away if your website is used for anything illegal, harmful or abusive.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll email you about any important change before it applies.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland deal with any dispute.
